The platform for building energy modeling and simulation
Ktirio can automatically generate Building Energy Models (BEM) from 3D Computer-Aided Design (CAD) geometry.
Features:
- Writing missing data to an ifc file.
- Automatic generation of multizone models from ifc file.
- Automatic generation 3D models from ifc file.
Ktirio service offers the possibility to simulate large building models thanks to substantiel computation resources and advanced high performance calculation methods. ktirio integrates data assimilation methods that allow to adjust the physical models in order to better approximate the real behaviour of the building.
Features:
- Parallel computing.
- Model order reduction methods with data assimilation.
- 3D and multizone model coupling (upcoming).
Ktirio provides several tools to collect data from monitored buildings and processes it in order to make ready for use at any time.
Features:
- Collect data from monitorred buldings.
- Store collected data into database.
- Monitor and diagnos a database.
- Impute missing data.
- Query database.
With ktirio service, the simulation results are displayed in a pleasant and easy way of reading. They are presented in the form of charts and tables that include an analysis of the energy efficiency and the thermal comfort of the building. ktirio service also integrates analysis tools that can be useful in understanding, validating and calibrating the model.
Features:
- Sensitivity analysis.
- Uncertainty analysis (upcoming).
- Energy efficiency and thermal comfort analysis.
Ktirio service provides a user friendly interface that can be accessed online or downloaded for a local installation. In both cases, it has the same features and gives access to the same computing resources.
Features
- Upload, view and potentially edit a CAD model (in ifc format).
- Configure the BEM
- Setup and run a simulation
- View the energy efficiency and thermal comfort analysis results.
- Download the simulation results.
